The words are Gaelic and mean hill of the oak. The name was chosen after much deliberation. Our home is not quite on the top of a hill that is liberally dotted with about 10 different types of oak trees. And too, we bought the place for our canine housemate and he loved it here. So our name is two-fold and it is quite literally, Oak's hill. :)
